The department

The department DD&IT PS BRD FP supports the production facilities in Odense, Gentofte, and Kirke Værløse. In this role, your primary location will be in Odense, with a weekly requirement to travel to Kirke Værløse, ensuring collaboration across all sites.


The position

As a IT Architect, you will make sure that every IT & automation solution in our area follows the overall Novo Nordisk Target Architecture and you will take the technical leadership and put your mark on the technical ambitions in our area.


You will get the opportunity to:

Define and drive the architectural strategy for our area together with relevant SMEs located in the organization
Create followship by the local architects and managers
Create a network of architects within our area and nurture a sharing/learning culture
Be visible to the whole area. Get to know the local architects and the production sites
Secure that every solution follows the Novo Nordisk Target Architecture
Collaborate with and guide colleagues across multiple IT and LoB organization areas, e.g., project teams, system teams, Product Management and IT architects from other areas and sites on our Target Architecture and Architectural Principles


The current IT & automation landscape is diverse, with different MES solutions, various control systems, and several installations of data Historian etc.


What are we looking for?

Your key trades include, but are not limited to the following experiences:

You have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in IT Software Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar in experience.
Strong IT & automation functional background
Experience as an IT architect ready to take that role working with integration platforms and methods towards both on-premises and cloud
Experience with data harmonization, publishing complex data to data lakes and data architecture

You are proactive and curious, visionary and want to take the lead in ensuring we deliver a future proof and solid IT architecture to our stakeholders.
