The position
As Lean Partner in Device Manufacturing & Sourcing II (DMS II), yo u will be a key contributor to a rapidly expanding organisation with high ramp-up focus and an international and complex stakeholder landscape. The work will have a direct impact on future launches and delivery of our new products in Novo Nordisk to the benefit of our patients. In this role, y ou will be in a unique position to shape our approach to process improvements in a new area – and you will have the chance to ensure we build the right setup even before we go into operations. After the project phase, you will drive the lean agenda as part of operations, managing lean projects from start to finish including conducting analysis to identify improvement opportunities, facilitating workshops, and coaching leaders and teams on lean principles and techniques to build a culture of continuous improvement.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Driving value stream mapping activities to enable data-based process design decisions and opportunities for improvement
Defining and driving the lean agenda and strategy across our organisation
Establishing and implementing visual management standards and operational KPIs
Bringing the lean mindset into our new organization and ensuring that the Novo Nordisk cLEAN Supply System principles are implemented in our area from the start
The position is located in Odense, but for the first 1-2 years frequent travels to the Hillerød/Greater Copenhagen area will be required.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we imagine you:
Hold at least a bachelor’s degree within a relevant field such as engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, or business.
Have previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment
Master lean principles, tools and techniques inclu ding Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping and 5S
Are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
It would be considered a plus if you have previous experience from a regulated industry such as pharmaceutical, medical device, aviation or automotive.
As a person, you are proactive, self-driven and initiate action to drive results. You are a stellar collaborator, and with your excellent communication and facilitation skills, you quickly build relations with stakeholders across all levels and can convey complex matters to senior management with ease. Your solid analytical thinking coupled with your strong problem-solving skills ensures successful project outcomes. Finally, you are resilient and adaptable in times of change.
