Market Communications Specialist (Maternity cover)

Then you might be the candidate we are looking for to join our team and play a key role planning and executing Market Communications strategies as Market Communications Specialist for Danfoss Power Solutions.

The position is open as a 12 months maternity cover from September 2018 until August 2019.

Content marketing planning, driving global sales campaigns, executing global MarCom strategy

Working in close collaboration with the MarCom Europe Manager and the global MarCom team, you will define, plan and execute strategies and tactics that align with those of Global Sales & Marketing. You will serve as a MarCom Champion and work with the business units to help increase product and brand awareness, product launch communication, and plan/execute sales campaign initiatives.

This involves close day-to-day cooperation with business colleagues, sales managers and coordination with Global MarCom colleagues across the world.
Furthermore, you will:

  • Assist in the development and execution of annual marketing communications plans for business units
  • Oversee projects, ensuring that key strategic messages are communicated effectively to target audiences
  • Serve as market communications consultant and expert to product marketing managers
  • Work closely with particularly the Digital Marketing and/or other Marketing departments on campaign management, segmentation and customer insights planning 
  • Act as a liaison with contracted companies to develop and/or produce communication plans, content and marketing materials
  • Performs other related responsibilities and duties as directed by leader. 

You will be measured by your ability to create projects and run activities with clearly defined goals and objectives - including tracking, reporting and following-up on defined KPIs for campaign efficiency and ROI.

You have a relevant educational background in Marketing, Media Communications or Business Communications and a few years of relevant working experience within marketing development, SoMe and PR execution. You have a high level of proficiency in IT tools (e.g. Microsoft Office - especially Excel, PowerPoint, MS SharePoint), knowledge of Pardot and Salesforce and quick grasp of new tools. You have a general business understanding, and enjoy working in highly matrix-structured, multicultural environment. Most important, however, is your ability to interact and communicate with courtesy and empathy as well as clarity and impact to multiple stakeholders at all levels in the organisation, finding common ground and making decisions. As you will communicate globally, you have excellent English skills, verbally as well as in writing.
