Key Account Manager for global sales

Welcome to Larsen Strings A/S

Larsen Strings is a small company based in Sønderborg. We manufacture strings regarded by many discerning artists as being the finest available products for bowed instruments (violin, viola and cello) worldwide. Several of our products are market leaders and major professional symphony orchestras and soloists play our strings.

You will join our team of several dedicated employees with whom you will cooperate closely on a daily basis. As most of our sales are global, you can also expect to spend 60-70 days per year travelling. In order to keep updated with the industry and to be introduced to new products and trends, you will visit music exhibitions all over the world.

Become an important part of our symphony

You will have a large amount of influence upon the development of the position and your daily tasks, which primarily include:

- Following up on and boosting sales with our existing customers consisting of leading distribution companies

- Maintaining regular contact with Larsen Strings' global customers
growing the potential in new markets

- Staying informed about our competitors' activities e.g. their behavior online

A smaller part of your task remit includes being responsible for our marketing activities. This entails keeping an overview of the activities, following up regularly as well as managing our marketing employee. In close cooperation, you will both work upon developing customer satisfaction surveys and compare sales figures, and you will also assist in the creation of our blog and newsletters by suggesting themes and content.

Can you increase our sales?

You are accustomed to delivering strong sales results. Furthermore, you can work independently while being part of a smaller company where cooperation is a critical part of the daily routine.

In addition:

- It is an advantage if you have an educational background in business.
- You will preferably have experience in marketing and selling products at a global level.
- It is an advantage if you have some musical understanding and have a personal interest within the field perhaps you will have a musical background.
- You speak and write in English fluently and some knowledge of the German language is an advantage. Danish is not a complete must, as you will learn over time.
- You are based within a reasonable driving distance of Sønderborg.
